Victor Wooten, Gary Willis, Tim Lefebvre, Sean Hurley, and a grip of other incredible bass players and musicians have all been kind enough to give their time to be interviewed for my channel over the years.
The list is long, the conversations are fascinating, and I’ve finally got them all in one place to watch and listen!

Tim Landers, Tim Lefebvre, Seth Godin, Cliff Almond, Sean Hurley, John Davis, Jack Roan, Bob Reynolds, Benny Greb, Bryan Beller, Gary Wills, Victor Wooten, Andrew Gouche, Henrik Linder, Gail Ann Dorsey, Juan Alderete, and Jojo Mayer are all on the playlist!
Next up will be one of my all-time musical heroes John Patitucci. I flew to Boston last week to sit down and talk about his upcoming release, Spirit Fall, which will be out February 14th.
He played the butterscotch Yamaha on all but one of the electric tracks on the album. The sound Johns Davis and Patitucci were able to get from this instrument are stunning. I highly recommend checking out the first three singles from the album. I think this is by far the best sounding record John has ever made, and it’s a huge inspiration to see that coming from someone in their mid-sixties, still asking questions, still curious for more.
Check in next week when the interview goes live here, on all podcast platforms, and of course on YouTube.
More Soon,
Janek

Very happy to have all these in one place. It dawned on me that I discovered your work because of that early Willis interview.
