Copies of the Union are now available worldwide!

As you’ll read in the product description in my store, I always thought of this album as a bit of a casualty of the pandemic. It was such a career highlight to work with John Patitucci as a producer, and I’m often reminded of what a labor of love the album was yet it never really got a chance to shine.

We made it in June of 2019, at which point I knew I had an insane end to the year including sideman tour dates, a week-long drum camp in Chicago with Steve Smithk Dennis Chambers, Chad Wackerman, and Gergo Borlai, and then our crazy wedding in France.

We moved house just a few weeks after the wedding, and then both went into end-of-year freelance mode, before I started going back out on tour in early 2020.

The plan was to play some shows with the band from the album in the spring of 2020 and maybe into the summer, but we all know how that turned out.

So here we are, 2024, hurtling towards 5 years since this album was cut. I found this box of CDs in storage, you guys voted on CDs being the preferred media after vinyl, and now the very few that are left are available and shipping worldwide.

They’re all signed of course, and sitting here putting this little drop together has given me great joy in remembering how special everyone involved in the production is to me.
