It never ceases to amaze me how much mileage I can get out of listening to the simplest, funkiest, and almost 50 year old grooves when I put on a Parliament track.

I don’t know the complete personnel listing for this bootleg unfortunately. I was looking for something with Dennis Chambers on, but he came to the band a little later in 1978.

Enjoy the funk! I’m using this one as a practice partner today, with the song on loop. It’s great discipline to stay locked into the part, and Parliament has an endless supply of cuts with very minimalist lines to play along to.
